Very nice piece and it does feel like it has a story behind it even without the context. I very much like the lighting and the bonefire in the center

was a lot of effort so it is nice to see it being rewarded with positive feedback. thanks man!
That's one hell of a beast... Love the lighting and the desperation of the characters in this piece
thanks again for your much valued feedback man! i spent quite some time designing it and that monsterface had more than 3 layers x_x
That's awesome! I love the ambiance conveyed here throught the lighting and the green glow!
thanks! i am glad you like it. originally i wanted to show no sky at all and have a much darker forest ambient xD ..will save that for later i guess.
That is a cool piece, I really like the visual effect on the mushrooms and the yoda-like expression of the character :D
The character is a lot more detailed than its surroundings which helps the viewer to understand that it is the main focus but it also feels like the attention is kinda taken away too.
Maybe it has to do with the fact that the most saturated parts of the drawing are not on the character but on the mushrooms and the grass since it is more red-ish.
I also think that the "camera angle" is not that clear, maybe it would be more catchy if you make it lower and looking upward where you can only see the sky or higher and looking down so that you can see more of the mountains in the background.
(Hope your wacom pen is fine :D)
tyvm for the input! i have to be honest with you there.. i made the character in a seperate photoshop file and took a lot of time for rendering it. then i created the landscape and really put quite some effort into the mushrooms..i liked the colour combination of saturated blue and green. you can see how much work went in there by zooming in. so in the end i was unable to tone them down since it took away the work i put into them ..maybe it was my indecisiveness that marks this painting. also i have to admit that the "mountains" were just a part of an empty and rotten treestump, in which the creature is sitting. aaand i also had to order a new pen since it was unusable afterwards BUT after one more day of letting it rest in a horizontal position the pressurecrystal inside the pen seems to have recovered! could have saved 40 euros..:D for the next piece i will give more attention to the camera angle. thanks again!

Part of why it might suck ass to live there :P
Nice concept! looks like a hybrid between a wendigo and a dragon. Very nice work!
Thanks friend! and it could be anything at this point haha :P
This version is much cleaner and more precise, i like it!
Thanks!
